Company Profile::
MJZ Distributors is a major wholesale distributor of stationery supplies and toys to stationery stores and school districts in the greater new York region.

DMSI's Service:
In 2007 MJZ contracted with DMSI to develop a web site that would allow their customers to browse their extensive offering of over 5,000 products and place orders electronically.  DMSI worked closely with MJZ and its accounting system consultants to design inventory and customer account data feeds to the web site, as well as methods of recording and passing orders back to the company for fulfillment.  DMSI also instituted a procedure for MJZ to prepare and post photos of its over 5,000 inventory items to the site while the system was being developed.

The resulting system showcases and allows electronic ordering of  MJZ's general merchandise, sale items, and seasonal specials. Customer orders are indexed for fulfillment and profiling purposes.

In addition to the MJZ Distributors.com web site, DMSI also developed a brochure subsystem which produces printed and electronic brochures of select items, for specific promotional campaigns.

The web site is controlled by an easy to use, back end control panel.  The control panel handles everything including:

• data transfers with MJZ's accounting system
• inventory cataloging by category and vendor
• management of inventory photos
• customer online accounts
• online sales management
• retrieval of sales data
• customer order review
• online and printed seasonal brochure management
